Developing a website has never been as simple as it is today, whether it’s a personal site or a business website.

The questions many ask are:
What’s the best website builder?webbuilderspic
Am I competent of building a website?

When it comes to building websites, knowing what a good website builder software (or platform) is and how to choose one for you will benefit you in moving forward to creating your website. There are a lot of web builder software on the market nowadays to help you build your website, even if you don’t have any technical experience. Of course, if you have some coding knowledge, you can take your website layout and functionality further – but this is not an official requirement when it comes to building websites. Before when you wanted to create a website, you would either have to go through the unpleasant process to learn how to code, or you’d have to spend thousands to hire someone to code one for you.

Customization Restrictions – Since these website builders are “closed source” software, they only permit you to customize your site to a particular extent, but a lot less manageable than some advanced website builders.

Shared Hosting – Since your website will be hosted on website builders’ servers, you don’t have complete authority over your content, and if you violate the website builders’ terms & conditions, they can terminate your account. This is exceedingly rare, and you have to be doing something terrible for this to happen.

No Backup – Most of the builders do not permit you to reserve your websites fully. If you want to use your entire website somewhere else, this is going to be a difficulty.

Slower Loading Activity – Because your website will be on shared hosting, you will be sharing servers and bandwidth with numerous websites. This will occur in slower website loading speed, particularly if you have a huge image file on your website.

BENEFITS:
The advantages include you not having to know or learn any code to be able to issue a website, the ease of use (drag and drop content), and customer assistance from the builders. Furthermore, you no longer have to lose thousands of dollars to have a website developer build your website. For many, this is an important financial promise and wondering what if you don’t get what you want is a primary concern. You can step away whenever you want without getting pulled into a conflict with a website developer. Most of these web builder software have free programs.

There are many options for publishing a website, but they can be classified into 3 categories.

Web editor
A web editor is a software that is installed on your computer. The program can either be a visual editor or an HTML editor. You design your page or website on your computer, and when you’re finished, you import your work to your web host. With web editors, you don’t have to be connected to the internet to edit your site. Hand coding pages are excellent if you have the opportunity and experience, and it’s sure you will learn a lot if you take this path.

Site builder
Using an online site builder, you log in to the website of the site builder, and then you write your articles or blogs, add images or edit the design of your site directly online. As you compose pages, they are automatically attached to your site. The site builders host your site. Some quality site builders are Wix, Weebly, and Squarespace.

Content management system
A CMS is a software that you install on your web hosting. When the software is installed, log into your website and update your pages as needed. In some ways, using a CMS has some comparisons to a site builder, the primary difference is that you maintain full control of your site. The most recognized content management systems are WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla.
